Minister Bastienne in Question Time |26 May 2015

The Minister for Home Affairs, Charles Bastienne, will be in the National Assembly today to answer questions related to his ministry.

The questions concern further assistance under the police scheme of service to police officers residing on Mahé but stationed on the inner islands; construction work on the Anse Aux Pins police station presently serving several districts; improvement of police presence in English River sub-districts on account of the increasing number of theft cases; policies allowing individuals to monitor the progress of their registered police cases; statistics relating to CID cases and the community policing initiative.

Additionally, one motion has been tabled for this sitting. The representative of the Anse Royale district, Derek Samson, will call on the government to establish a budget plan for the maintenance of public buildings and facilities in Seychelles.
