President Michel congratulates Ethiopian PM following his party's election victory |27 June 2015

On behalf of the government and people of Seychelles, President James Michel has congratulated the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Deselagn, on the convincing victory of his party, the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF), in the general elections contested in his nation.

In his message, President Michel noted the excellent relations, which exist between Seychelles and Ethiopia and hoped to further those ties in the future during the prime minister’s tenure.

“I look forward to working with you to strengthen our ties of friendship and solidarity and hope that we can together address key challenges of common interest which we face as African states, for the betterment of our peoples and continent,” said President Michel.
