Philip Naiken wins National Day lottery star prize |30 June 2015

With ticket number 16502, Philip Naiken of Mont Buxton has won the National Day lottery star prize, a piece of land at Marine Jeanne Estate on Praslin.

The piece of land has been made available to the National Celebrations Committee by the Ministry of Land Use and Habitat.

The lottery draw was held yesterday at the close of the National Expo at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex.

Jim Lesperance of Amitié Praslin is the 1^st prize winner – a giant TV screen sponsored by Cellular Services - , with ticket number 08973.

The 2^nd prize, a four-metre long fibreglass boat and engine sponsored by Cascade Slipway, has been won by Francesca Gonzagues of La Misère who had bought the ticket bearing number 58885.

With ticket number 27092, Laurent Jeannie of Pascal Village has won the 3^rd prize, a motor cycle sponsored by Abhaye Valabji.
