Two Russian nationals were arrested late Tuesday afternoon with empty credit cards and card cloning devices in their luggage.

According to the police, they were arrested at the Seychelles International Airport upon their arrival in the country.

Their arrest came after a search on them by a National Drugs Enforcement Agency (NDEA) agent led to the discovery of some 70 empty credit cards and also card cloning devices in their luggage.

The two male suspects who are in their mid-20s were brought to court yesterday afternoon and have been remanded in police custody until September 15.

While conducting their investigation in that case the police and other local concerned authorities are appealing to anyone who happens to witness any suspicious activities around any bank ATM to report the matter promptly to the police.

Three Bulgarian passport holders are being detained following their arrests while in possession of bank ATM skimming devices some three weeks back.

The three Bulgarians, two women and one man, have also been remanded until Friday September 4.
