Widows’ retreat next weekend |03 October 2015

Widows who have lost their husbands one year ago or more are being invited to take part in a retreat which will take place at La Misère over next weekend of October 9 to 11.

The chief executive of the Association for the Promotion of Solid Human Family (APSHF) Rosy Denis said the retreat is a follow up to the Couple’s for Christ Women’s conference taking place at Anse Royale this Saturday.

“Women need a lot of support to overcome the loss of their husbands and it is important they know when to let go and continue with their lives,” Mrs Denis said.

She pointed out that the retreat will help them better go through their bereavement.

Women who are interested to take part should register their names at the APSHF office at La Salle D’Oeuvres where they will also get more details on the retreat.
