New Quincy Pharmacy brings wider choice of medicine to consumers |05 October 2015

 

 

 

 

A new pharmacy situated in the Malow Trading Complex on Quincy Street opened its doors on Thursday morning.

Owned by Raja, the owner of A-1 Supermarket at Côte d’Or on Praslin,  the pharmacy which is ideally situated in a busy shopping area of Victoria near Quincy and Chez Deenu supermarkets as well as other shopping outlets and outstanding landmark the Vinayagar Hindu temple, aims to bring more choices to consumers where medicines for all types of ailments are concerned.

Among the medicines and other items that are readily available are hypertension and diabetic drugs as well as cosmetic products.

In addition the pharmacy, which sells more than 1,500 different items, also has a variety of baby products like milk formula of the popular brand Lactogen as well as diapers, wipes, juices, among others.

P. Mariya Praveen Mani, the pharmacist running the Quincy Pharmacy, is convinced the business will do well because it is conveniently located.

“It is situated in a popular business and shopping area and the prices are competitive,” Mr Mani said, noting that soon consumers will discover how affordable and good the products are.

As regard to competition Mr Mani is not at all worried. He believes it is good for business because in the end it is the consumers who decide and they will always choose to their convenience and if the prices are good.

Quincy Pharmacy also allows consumers the space to move between the shelves to choose their medicine and pick out any other goods in their own time before proceeding to the payment counter.

The pharmacy is open for business from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 1pm on Sunday and public holidays.
