Tourism & culture minister in Question Time

This week in the National Assembly, the Minister for Tourism and Culture,

Alain St Ange, will answer eight questions before the House.

The minister will answer questions regarding the following: the number of students from the Seychelles Tourism Academy who have returned to the country after completing their studies overseas and their actual status of employment; the ministry’s future plans to attach an officer of culture with a region to help identify and develop talents as well as organise various cultural activities in the districts; the status of the Creative Industries and National Event Agency (Cinea).

The National Assembly will further debate on the Elections (Amendment) (No 2) Bill, 2015 that will give additional powers to the Electoral Commission to set up special polling stations.
In addition, one motion has been tabled for this sitting. The leader of government business, Marie-Antoinette Rose, will call on the House to ratify the Arms Trade Treaty.
