Minister St Ange gets copy of ‘Sainte Anne Insight The Book’ |10 November 2015

Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort & Spa general manager Norbert Couvreur used the World Travel Market (WTM) 2015 in London to present to Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St Ange a copy of their ‘Sainte Anne Insight The Book’.

The presentation was made in the presence of François Venin, also of Beachcomber Hotels.

The book shows the work undertaken by the Beachcomber resort in Seychelles and the coverage it has obtained across the world.

"The Book Insight is part of our everyday life at beachcomber Sainte Anne Island. We have related some great stories, we have shared our joy, our achievements, our initiatives and successes with our colleagues, our friends and our partners both in Seychelles and overseas. I am grateful to you for your participation, in one way or another, in this great adventure and I am confident that you will continue to lend your support to this witness of our common history," writes Mr Couvreur in the preface of the new book.

"Working together to increase the visibility of our islands is the way to go. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture and our tourism board will continue to support establishments who go the extra mile for the benefit of our islands’ tourism industry and in so doing for the benefit of Seychelles. Hotel chains or branded hotels and resorts operating in Seychelles, such as Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort & Spa have a moral duty to be with us and work alongside us to help consolidate our islands’ tourism industry. We see Beachcomber today on our stand at WTM in London and the question we ask is where are the others?

“Should we not all be standing shoulder to shoulder in our country's drive for a more successful tourism industry?

“We salute Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort & Spa for its tireless efforts and to be with the tourism board at the tourism trade fairs, we also salute the other major hotel brands present with us and take this opportunity to say how disappointed we are not to see the others take part with us and to be seen and counted as one of us," said Minister St Ange in London as he discussed the new Beachcomber hotels book with the press.
