A new look and office for SHTA |18 November 2015

The Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHTA) has relocated its office to the Espace waterfront building at Ile du Port, from the OJ Mall where it has been operating for the last five years.

According to the association, the new location will not only allow it to work more closely with its parent ministry but will also provide its members with a more easily accessible office close to the inter island ferry and cargo terminal as well as ample parking.

The move also comes with the launch of the association's rebranding, and the new logo and corporate colours are proudly displayed on the office's doors.

Today the SHTA represents a very broad membership of the tourism industry and as such demanded a more representative profile.

At the core of the membership are the home grown Seychellois establishments and businesses, large and small, but the association also encompasses tour operators, boat charter companies, restaurants, retail stores, international hotel chains, as well as banks and other tourism related associations.

The new secretariat office will be manned by Louise Testa.

Members are invited to drop in and share any issues with the association while non members are also being urged to stop by and learn more about the role and work of the association should they be interested to join.
