Presidential election 2015: 26-minute campaign programmes |27 November 2015

Tonight’s programmes to feature Pierre and Boulle

The candidates’ third and last segment of the 26-minute campaign programmes for the December 3-5 presidential election will be aired starting tonight on radio and television.

These programmes begin at 7.30pm on SBC’s Radyo Sesel while on SBC TV they start at 9pm.

Tonight’s programmes will feature David Pierre of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) and independent candidate Philippe Boullé.

Tomorrow, Saturday November 28, will be the turn of Wavel Ramkalawan of the Seychelles National Party (SNP) and Alexia Amesbury of the Seychelles Party for Social Justice and Democracy (SPSJD) to present their programme.

The last two candidates to present their third 26-minute campaign programmes are James Michel of Parti Lepep (PL) and Patrick Pillay of the Lalyans Seselwa (LS). Their programmes will be aired on Sunday November 29.

The campaign on radio and television will close on Tuesday December 1 with a 13-minute party political broadcast (PPB) by each candidate. Mr Michel will start first in the closing 13-minute PPB, followed by Mr Pillay, Mrs Amesbury, Mr Ramkalawan, Mr Pierre and Mr Boullé in that order.

Campaigning in general for the upcoming presidential election will be allowed up to 24 hours before the election is set to begin on December 3, 2015.
