Police Communiqué |11 February 2016

The police have reported that the 23-year-old man of Roche Caïman, suspected of wounding  two French sailors outside the Tequila Boom night club and discotheque in the early hours of last Sunday, has been remanded in police custody until Friday afternoon when he will again reappear before court.

The 23-year-old suspect reported himself to the police in the company of his lawyer late Monday afternoon.

The police are treating that case very seriously as one of the two sailors sustained injuries by a sharp object to different parts of his body including a large and deep cut in his face.

Investigation is ongoing.
