With the aim of promoting transparency, the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) is henceforth giving notice of the customary publication of its Annual Report.

Consistent with Section 47(4) of the CBS Act 2004 (as amended), the CBS published its Annual Report for the year 2015 on March 31.

Hence, the Report includes analysis of key economic indicators such as GDP or overall performance of the economy, inflation, exchange rate movements, interest rates, changes in credit, fiscal outcome, public external debt as well as foreign reserves.

To the extent possible, the Report also covers the key economic challenges faced during the year and gives a brief view of the overall outlook for the year 2016.

The Report also provides a summary of the main activities undertaken by CBS during 2015.
