New appointments at Home Affairs |21 April 2016

Myriam Telemaque is the new chief immigration officer in the department of immigration, Ronald Fock Tave is the advisor to the principal secretary of immigration and civil status, and Samir Ghislain is the deputy superintendent of Seychelles Prisons.

The Ministry of Home Affairs released news of the appointments through a communiqué yesterday.

Mrs Telemaque has 38 years of experience in the immigration department. She started her career as an immigration officer and later occupied various posts.

She replaces Mr Fock Tave who has served in the post for 23 years. Mr Fock Tave is now the advisor to the principal secretary of the immigration and civil status department.

As for Mr Ghislain, he has also been appointed the deputy superintendent of Seychelles Prisons.

He joined the police force in 1998 and has held various positions reaching the rank of inspector until his secondment to the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) in 2011.

Home Affairs Minister Charles Bastienne has wished Mrs Telemaque, Mr Fock Tave and Mr Ghislain the very best in their new posts.
