Daniel Bibi wins year’s first loyalty card lottery |03 May 2016

Seychelles Trading Company continuously rewards its frequent shoppers on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue and for the first time a resident from La Digue – Daniel Bib i– has won the lottery.

He was rewarded along with nine other lucky winners during a short ceremony held at the Seychelles Trading Company (STC) conference room last week.

Mr Bibi won an air ticket to any Air Seychelles destination sponsored by the national airline and an additional R5,000 cash prize sponsored by Sacos Insurance company.

He was very happy to receive his prize and said he wants to travel with his two daughters – Etara and Lirana Bibi – as soon as possible.

“I am very loyal to STC, each time I purchase goods in their stores I use my loyalty card and even if I forget it at times I still buy from their stores. Although I was disappointed last year when I lost in the different lotteries they had put in place, I’m very happy that I have won now,” he said.

Mr Bibi has travelled overseas only once and that was to Hong Kong with Etara. He said Hong Kong is quite expensive so he wants to travel to a new destination.

The second winner was Linda Morel who unfortunately could not be present to collect her prize and it was her husband Armand Morel who collected the air ticket she won.

In third place was Reza Jaro who won a 40-inch SONY flat screen television sponsored by an overseas supplier, Nash Holdings.

Other winners include Zita Pouponneau, Paul Ernest, Ruth Dine, Jean Paul Ah Kong, Jenny Adam, Jane Payet and Christian Lablache.

This is the first loyalty card lottery for the year. The lotteries are drawn quarterly: End of April, end of August and end of the year which includes the special Christmas lottery.

Exciting prizes are won in this lottery with the support of various sponsors such as Cellular Services, Seychelles Breweries, Diamond Works, Airtel, Allied Builders and Trois Frères Distillery.

Present during the ceremony were STC board members, staff and the winners.
