Contestants ready for the crown..! |21 May 2016

The 12 contestants taking part in this year’s Miss Seychelles ... Another World 2016 beauty pageant have come to the end of their intensive and vigorous grooming and training sessions.

The three-month programme was led by a team of groomers made up of positive thinking lecturers, dance and artistic choreographers, catwalk trainers, public speaking skills and media interview techniques, culture and tradition, history of Seychelles, Beauty with a Purpose project, dinner and table etiquette, protocol procedures, gym fitness, French language training, make-up application tutorials and hairstyling designs.

Next week the contestants will focus on full stage rehearsals with the full evening programme going practical on stage under the direction of the artistic and technical production teams at the International Conference Centre of Seychelles (ICCS) in preparation for the big night on Saturday May 28, 2016 when the show kicks off at 6.30pm in front of an expected large audience.

The contestants will parade in casual wear, swimwear and evening gowns before a panel of jury who will select the best six for the semifinal round. Questions will be asked on stage before the final round by the panel of jury before the top three winners are selected.

Awards in different categories ranging from Miss Sports, Miss Talent, Best Effort for the Beauty with a Purpose project, Miss Personality, People’s Choice, Miss Photogenic, Best Evening Gown, First  Princess, Second Princess and Miss Seychelles … Another World 2016 will be presented on the night.

Among the 12 contestants, one of them waits to wear the crown…!
