Seychelles at fifth International Tourism Fair in Madagascar |04 June 2016

Bernadette Honore, Seychelles’ representative in the Vanilla island of Reunion, is in Madagascar for the fifth International Tourism Fair (ITM).

The ITM appears on the calendar of events of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands together with the Carnival in Seychelles, the golf tournament in Mauritius, the Liberté Métisse Festival in Reunion and the Food and Arts Fiesta in the Comoros. The fifth ITM, which was officially launched at the Carlton Hotel in Antananarivo on June 2, ends today.

This tourism fair with more than 100 exhibitors is organised by the Office National du Tourisme de Madagascar. 

Many tourism destinations and regions are present at this tourism fair and are standing side by side with hotels and resorts, restaurants, attractions and regional tourism executives.

The Seychelles Tourism Board's chief executive, Sherin Naiken, is being represented by her deputy Nathalie Didon whereas the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange is being represented by Glynn Burridge at the different Vanilla Islands meetings taking place in Madagascar on the sidelines of the tourism fair.
