Airtel Seychelles launches new promotion |21 July 2016

Kestyon pour en Sanpyon’ is a new educational promotion from Airtel Seychelles to mark our 40th Independence Anniversary on June 29 this year.

The new promotion was launched yesterday afternoon at the Airtel office, Providence in the presence of the customer service & marketing director Harsh Kharbanda and other Airtel staff.

This promotion will allow Airtel customers to test their knowledge on the history and events related to Seychelles in a fun and engaging manner while also allowing them to stand a chance to win prizes every week including airtime and cash. At the end of the promotion on September 14, a grand prize of R25,000 will be up for grabs.

Mr Kharbanda said that such promotion will educate Airtel customers on the history of Seychelles.

“To play this promotion, our prepaid customers have to send an SMS typing ‘40’ or START’ on 9698 and they can give the answers to the questions asked. Each SMS cost R3 and each correct answer carries 100 points. If any customer gives a wrong answer, the customer will still get 10 points and there is no negative marking of the points,” he said.

Starting from next week, there will be a lucky draw to find out the winners for the week in each category of prizes of airtime and cash. And each week 14 people will win airtime worth R100, seven customers will get R500 each and three customers will walk away with R100. The first draw will take place on July 27, 2016.

The entries into the promotion ends on September 13 and the Grand Draw for the R25,000 prize will be conducted on September 14, 2016.

“We trust that this promotion will not only give the opportunity to our customers to win big prizes but also for them to remember past events that together have marked the history of Seychelles in this 40th year of Independence,”  he added.
