Beenie Man will rock Seychelles crowd |23 July 2016

Anthony Moses Davis, better known by his stage name Beenie Man, is expected to deliver a crowd-pleasing performance at the mini stadium (La Promenade field) in Victoria on August 6, 2016.

Beenie Man is a Grammy award-winning Jamaican reggae, dancehall recording artist referred to as the world ‘King of Dancehall’.

Among Beenie Man’s many hit songs are ‘Dance Hall Queen’, ‘The Slam’, ‘Who I am’, ‘Foundation’, ‘Greatest Gall’, among many others.

A child prodigy in Jamaica’s ragga scene during the mid 1980s, Beenie Man became the most popular deejay in the country by the mid 1990s. With international tours and distribution agreements for his work, Beenie Man’s international reputation and record sales also expanded, culminating in a record-setting seven 1999 International Reggae and World Music Awards and a 2000 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for Art & Life.

Incorporating various styles such as techno, R&B, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms into his work, the artist pushed the boundaries of reggae.

Beenie Man will be live in Seychelles thanks to Hype Production and sponsors Dynamics, Cat Cocos and House of Shawarma.

A representative from La Faya Bar stated that the show will be one of the best for this year, and that our local fans will truly appreciate such artist.

Ambitious with Liberation Band will also be present to kick off the show.

If you want to witness the ‘King of Dancehall’ in Seychelles tickets are already on sale at Creole Travel Services on State House Avenue, House of Shawarma, and La Faya Bar at R200. VIP tickets cost R350 apiece.
