SPTC to resume circular service on Dame Le Roi, Val D’Andorre road |03 September 2016

Effective Monday September 5, 2016, the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) will resume the circular Val D’Andorre via Dame Le Roi bus service now that extensive works have been completed on that stretch of road.

For some time that service was halted due to improvement works by the Seychelles Land Transport Agency (SLTA) to enhance the road condition.

Now that work has been completed, SPTC will be in a much better position to provide a better service to that community.

In line with this, some weekday services on that route have been amended as follows:

  • The 0625hrs which normally departs Desert, will now go via Dame Le Roi.
  • Both the 1140hrs and 1650hrs services departing Victoria Bus Terminal to Val D’Andorre will now operate on circular mode going via Baie Lazare Police Station to Dame Le Roi.

Newly introduced services during weekends are as follows:

Saturday

  • Depart Baie Lazare Police Station at 0900hrs to Victoria  via Dame Le Roi, Val D’Andorre, Bougainville;
  • Leave Victoria Bus Terminal at 1215hrs to Baie Lazare Bus Depot via Val D’Andorre, Dame Le Roi.

Sunday

  • Depart Baie Lazare Police Station at 0800hrs via Dame Le Roi, Val D’Andorre ending at Baie Lazare Bus Depot.  A service will also operate at 1000hrs from the district’s bus depot going via Dame Le Roi.

SPTC is of the view that the services will be of great benefit to residents of the two communities.
