‘Love Doctor’ Romain Virgo to rock Victoria |08 October 2016

Affectionately known as the ‘Love Doctor’, Romain Virgo will make a maiden performance in Seychelles on October 31, 2016.

The Jamaica singer who specialises in the lover’s rock style of reggae music, will perform live with his band – Unit Band – andif you are a big fan of the ‘Love Doctor’ tickets are already on sale at the usual outlets at R300 (VIP) and R200 (normal).

The 26-year-old singer is best known for his rendition of international hit songs, including ‘Soul Provider’, ‘Stay with Me’ and others.

Virgo hails from Stepney in Saint Ann Parish. He rose to prominence in the television choir contest ‘All Together Sing’ in 2006, going on to win the Digicel Rising Stars competition in 2007, two months before his graduation from high school in Saint Ann, Jamaica.

At 17 years old, he was the youngest contestant to ever win top prize at the competition, which included a JA$1,000,000 prize and a recording contract with Greensleeves Records.

Romain will perform here thanks to Elijah and Deba Store, supported by Air Seychelles.

Elijah stated that many youths adore Romain’s songs, and will be amazed by his performances.

“We are proud to bring Romain Virgo to Seychelles. Many people who are in love can relate to his songs, he has touched so many of us just by using the power of words. I invite all the people to come down to the concert and witness the ‘Love Doctor’ live,” he said.
