TL’S Repair Services, situated in room 209 of Victoria House, is an office equipment repair business run by Trevor Larue together with a partner. Trevor tells us what exactly his business is about.

“It is mainly a photocopier, printer, fax machine, scanner repair business. Computer repairs and computer network cabling/installation are also provided as additional services. I fix black and white and colour photocopiers, black and white and colour printers. That includes heavy duty machines at high speed printing and also small personal printers/copiers,” Trevor explains.

TL’S Repair specialises in repairing Canon and HP office equipment but does fix other brands as well.

“These brands are Epson, Xerox, Samsung, Oki, Brother etc..  There is a great demand for this type of technical support especially from government offices and other private businesses across the country because printing and computing are involved in everyday work in the office. And when the printers are down it really affects productivity as workers cannot deliver in their jobs on schedule or they cannot work at all.

“TL’S Repair Services does not employ any staff at present. But I’m working with a business partner. I will definitely consider employing new staff soon depending on how the business progresses,” says Trevor.

Trevor says he was employed for six years with Office Equipment Services, Kingsgate House, where he developed his skills in copier/printer repair, after completing two years study in electrical and electronic engineering at the Seychelles Polytechnic in 2006.

“Altogether I have 10 years of copier/printer repair experience with the last six years running TL’S Repair Services,” says Trevor.

TL’S Repair Services is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
