Football Elvis Chetty re-elected SFF chairman |29 November 2016

Elvis Chetty has been re-elected Seychelles Football Federation chairman during the sport’s extra-ordinary general meeting on Saturday.

Mr Chetty won 31 out of 32 votes. He has thanked all who have shown faith in him and promised to bring about changes in the SFF administration to help bring the sport of football to new heights in Seychelles.

After outgoing vice-chairman Roch Henriette and Brian Uranie pulled out of the race, Dolor Ernesta beat challengers Finley Racombo and Jason Damou to take up the post of vice-chairman.

The new treasurer is Jonathan Paul who beat Ralph Jean-Louis to the post after Marlon Naiken and Wilfred Freminot dropped out of the race.

Lewis Madeleine, Gonzague D’Offay, Philip Sinon, Emmanuel Lucas and Robert Payet are the five ordinary members.

All candidates were nominated by clubs registered with the SFF.

The new executive committee has a four-year mandate.
