Football Glacis division three champs |01 December 2016

Glacis are the division three champions after they did not have to break a sweat to win their match against Mont Buxton on Tuesday.

As Mont Buxton failed to turn up, Glacis were given three points, bringing their points tally to 52 – an unassailable lead over second-placed Red Star who are on 47 points after playing 19 matches.

Coached by former Northern Dynamo and Seychelles centre-back Ronny Hoareau, Glacis have won the championship with two games to spare. They have 16 wins and four draws in 20 games and are the only team yet to lose a match in the lowest division in the country.

Glacis have scored 52 goals and conceded 14, while Red Star have the best line of attack with 91 goals scored and the best defence with 13 goals conceded.

North Mahé-based Glacis will automatically be promoted to the second division next year.

The following is the third division league table as at November 30, 2016 prepared by the Seychelles Football Federation.
