‘Be Visible Be Safe!’ campaign Playtime Seychelles promotes road safety at La Retraite school |01 December 2016

During the recent Road Safety Week Playtime Seychelles visited La Retraite primary school to hand over the story book ‘Kisisa en reflekter?’ to the pupils. Playtime Seychelles’ representatives visited all classrooms and gave a pedestrian reflector, together with the book, to each pupil and an information letter to their parents.

Earlier this month Playtime Seychelles made a presentation on pedestrian reflectors to La Retraite’s school teachers.

“We gave the teachers in each classroom the book ‘Kisisa en reflekter?’ so they can read it to the pupils and teach them about why and how to use a reflector before we visited the classrooms. All teachers also received pedestrian reflectors for personal use,” a spokesperson for Playtime Seychelles said.

This donation to La Retraite school’s pupils is part of Playtime Seychelles’ road safety project ‘Be Visible Be Safe’ and affiliated to one of Playtime’s primary goals, which is to promote safe environments for young children.

Kisisa en reflekter?” is authored by Agnes Karlsson, illustrated by Gunilla Holmberg and published by Playtime Seychelles. The text is translated into Creole by Lenstiti Kreol.

This donation is sponsored by Barclays Bank Seychelles, Coreflect Finland and Playtime Seychelles.                                                                                                                                 The printing of the books is sponsored by the embassy of the United States of America based in Mauritius.
