Playtime Seychelles and Swedish partner bring Christmas cheer to less fortunate children |29 December 2016

Playtime Seychelles has once again joined forces with the Swedish toy manufacturer Lekia AB Sweden to donate Christmas gifts to children in Seychelles.

Playtime has donated the 280 Christmas gifts received from Lekia AB to different orphanages, creches, Christmas parties and one other charity organisations in Seychelles.

Playtime’s chairperson Gunilla Holmberg and treasurer Michelle Fock-Yune visited Foyer de la Providence, St Elizabeth Convent and Foyer de Nazareth and gave the children Christmas gifts and candy bags.

Playtime Seychelles also attended Christmas parties organised by Mont Fleuri and Bel Eau creches where they gave Christmas gifts to both children and the creches.

Christmas gifts also went to La Retraite school’s Christmas party as well as to another charitable organisations in Seychelles.

Playtime Seychelles also visited the paediatric ward playroom at the Seychelles Hospital and donated picture books in Creole, published and written by Playtime Seychelles.

Playtime also attended a Christmas party at National House where they donated toys.

Playtime Seychelles hopes that all children in Seychelles had a Merry Christmas with lots of “playtime”.
