STC rewards loyal customers through lotteries |05 January 2017

• Roddy Louise snatches R100,000 first prize

The Seychelles Trading Company (STC) has rewarded its most loyal customers for the year 2016.

In a presentation ceremony held recently at the STC conference room on Latanier Road, the customers were rewarded with prizes which included airline tickets, jewellery, week-ends and dinner in local hotels, household items, beverages as well as cash.

This was as a result of the quarterly STC Loyalty Card Lottery and a Special Christmas Lottery which were drawn at the end of last year.

Roddy Louise walked home with the R100,000 star prize. The inhabitant of Mont Buxton has described his prize as “a big time surprise and a good start to 2017”. He says he has won it because he has shopped at the STC Hypermarket every week since its opening.

As he intends to create his own business during this year, he will invest the money into the venture.

The first prize was won by Clarence Prea, while the second and third prizes went respectively to Bruce Gage and Oluseyi Olawale.

To qualify for the lottery a customer must be an STC loyalty card member. So if you want to be a winner in 2017, please hurry and get your card from the STC Hypermarket on Bois de Rose Avenue or from its supermarkets at Baie Sainte Praslin or at Anse Réunion on La Digue.

STC’s public relations officer Stephanie Felix has described the prizes won in the lotteries as a perfect gift for the season, while she says the company is always happy to give back.

“As a company which is at the heart of its people, we are honoured to reward our customers for their loyalty and trust which we value and take pride in so as to continue to serve you better,” she commented.

Chief executive (CEO) Veronique Laporte has on her part wished to thank all the sponsors which have partnered STC in the programme. They are: Le Moulin de la Concorde, Trois Frères Distilleries, Nash Holdings, Kreolor, IOEC, Geace Cole, Diamond Works Jewellery, Avani Barbarons Resort & Spa,  Island Development Company, Abhaye Valabjhi, HDSA Shipping, Acajou Hotel, Savoy Resort & Spa, Thai Union, Constance Ephelia, Coral Strand Hotel, Seychelles Commercial Bank, Mauritius Commercial Bank, Nouvobanq, Barclays and Air Seychelles.
