Three more budgets approved

The budgets for the Constitutional Appointment Authority, Electoral Commission and the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning have been approved.

The National Assembly yesterday gave its approval as debate on the national budget continued.

The budget for the Constitutional Appointments Authority is R646,000 while that for the Electoral Commission is R7,306,000.

As for the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning its budget is R98,080,000.

In its session on Monday, the National Assembly approved the budgets for the Judiciary (R60,271,000), the Legislature (R37,733,000), Office of the Auditor General (R17,591,000), Office of the Ombudsman and Human Rights Commission (R2,982,000), and Office of the Public Service Appeals Board (R1,245,000).
