Freshair Bridal Services, Freshair Salon two businesses in one |06 March 2017

Freshair Bridal Services is linked to Freshair Salon. It is a business owned by Nicoletta Marzocchi and is based at OJ Market Mall, Suite 37, Victoria.

It has been operational for over six years, since January 2011.

“I did my hair training in France at Performance Ecole Technique De Coiffure in Toulon. I worked in a few salons in Seychelles and even ventured into accounting before opening my own business,” said Nicoletta when talking about her business.

Freshair Salon offers diverse services to accommodate different kinds of clients. “Based in the tropics, our products range have been chosen very carefully to adapt with different hair types while respecting the climate. Mostly all of my products are imported, mainly from South Africa,” she explained.

She added that the idea to launch Freshair Bridal Services came up about a year ago after discovering there was a demand with tourists getting married in Seychelles, where the clients would rather have their hair done in the comfort of their hotel room.

“Clients would call in to enquire if such service was available and this is where the idea came up. The main clients are tourist visitors tying the knots on Mahé. So far I am happy that we have been able to provide such a service while operating a hair salon,” said Nicoletta.

Her business also offers nail services, both at the salon and as part of the bridal package.

“These services are also available for local people but so far, locals have been content to come to the salon instead of home calls,” she said.

Nicoletta said it has been a very interesting journey so far as she gets to meet people from different background and also manages to put a smile on their faces on their big day.

“It's always a pleasure being able to share these moments as a professional,” she added.

The main line for bookings is 2 521 472, for both the salon and bridal hair services. There is also a Facebook page called Seychelles Bridal Hair Services where mostly all the bookings are made.
