Intelvision has made history in Seychelles by launching the first ever unlimited broadband internet package while wearing a new brand now at an affordable rate called CRIMSON.

The CRIMSON package allows you the freedom to experience the world at your fingertips with Intelvision. Through this package Intelvision allows you better access to unlimited social media (Facebook, Instagram), web browsing (Shopping, Research), music streaming (Itune, Pandora), messaging (Viber, Skype) and video streaming (Netflix, Youtube).

CRIMSON also allows you a maximum download speed of 4Mbps and minimum download speed of 256 Kbps.

The official launch took place in a short ceremony at Intelvision Office, Victoria on Friday evening.

Guests at the ceremony were Vice-President Vincent Meriton, the chairperson of Intelvision Mukesh Valabhji, the chief executive officer of Intelvision Bridget Kelly, the principal secretary for information communication and technology Benjamin Choppy, National Assembly members, Intelvision staff, among other guests.

Speaking to the media after the launch, Mr Valabhji stated that Intelvision is embarking on a major phase in the telecommunication industry.

“It is costly for Intelvision to run a vast project to the tune of around R35 million. Despite this we decided to tackle this project and make it happen. Our only target market is Seychelles, so we needed to keep our customers happy. Having had many complaints from our customers on high internet bills, we needed to up our game. Today our customers can view movies online without any extra costs for only R899,” he said.

He added that when you pay the R899, you can download and stream movies without any other costs to it.

“It is unlimited but the speed will vary, you will be able to watch a Netflix movie without any cutting throughout the movie. We are confident that it will be a project that will last. Furthermore you will be able to also use that unlimited outside your house with the Intelvision WIFI hotspots around Mahé,” he said.
