Next Step group announce future plans |13 April 2017

The Next Step group have said that, after reading a mother’s plea to help her son, they will be organising their last charity event to help a child on Tuesday April 18 near Ramesh shop at Anse Royale.

After that they will create a fund called Next Step charity whereby they will join with other groups to donate for a good cause.

The group’s leader Sonny Dogley said he believes the campaign ‘Make a child smile’ is doing great work to help children in need and so they do not want to overstep their boundary by duplicating the work.

“But if any group needs our help or want to work in collaboration with us on any project we will gladly oblige,” said Sonny.

He added that his group are taking part in some activities for Labour Day on Praslin and a beach fun day on La Digue and at the end of May they plan to release some new songs.

Meanwhile the Next Step group were on La Digue on Saturday April 8 outside STC supermarket where they displayed health awareness posters on the occasion of World Health Day.

Recently they also organised a birthday fun day at the Paradis des Enfants for one of their members Charlie Morel.
