Another case involved Willy Max Rachel, a construction technician residing at Anse Des Genets aged 42 years and Freddy Jean-Paul Labrosse, a casual labourer residing at Roche Caiman aged 32 years. After having pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of a controlled drug, both men were sentenced by Judge Gustave Dodin to pay a fine of R8,000 within a period of 6 months or in default to 1 year imprisonment. Both men were arrested on September 25, 2015 at Roche Caiman with 5.41 grammes of heroin.

The National Drugs Enforcement Agency (NDEA) also wishes to make a correction to the conviction with regard to the case of Derrick Clarisse.
