Local DJ Ezy D to entertain in London for our 41st Independence Day |23 June 2017

By popular demand Paradise FM local DJ Ezy D is heading to London to perform for Seychelles Independence Day/National Day celebrations in the UK capital on July 1, 2017.

The event is being organised by Seychelles Life, a publication headed by Lewis Betsy, who has a proud reputation for staging prestige functions like this.

DJ Ezy D stated that such an event provides Seychellois living abroad an opportunity to get together and interact.

“Such parties offer Seychellois living in the UK and Europe a unique opportunity to get together, socialise and enjoy music from home especially for such a momentous occasion,” he said.

Arguably Seychelles’ most popular DJ, Ezy D was chosen by popular demand by Seychellois living overseas who tune in to his various radio shows and follow his gigs and performance on social media. So it was an easy choice when deciding who will headline the celebration this year.

Besides Ezy D, Mr Betsy had hoped to get another popular artist or even a local band for this year’s celebration, however budget didn't permit.

“It wouldn't have been possible to do such moves this year if it wasn’t for the generosity of main sponsors Air Seychelles, and also COCO ‘Made in Seychelles’ organic T-shirt. DJ Ezy D will be accompanied by local videographer KLN who will be documenting the trip including the event for future broadcast on local TV,” Mr Betsy stated.

DJ Ezy D leaves Seychelles on June 28.
