Joseph Louise concert a total sensation |06 July 2017

It has been confirmed that the Joseph Louise tribute concert was a total success.

After so many years of entertaining us with his good music, last week Joseph Louise AKA Ton Joe was live in his first concert, in a special tribute to commemorate his long and successful career in the music industry.

The concert took place at the mini-stadium (La Promenade playing field) in Victoria and it attracted a big crowd of people from different age groups who still believe in and listen to Ton Joe’smusic.

The singer himself was totally shocked by the number of people who showed up at the concert.

“I never expected to have so many people to come and support me; I still have my fans who have supported me from day one.

It was a total experience that I will treasure for life. I would like to thank the organisers and all my devoted fans,” he said.

The tribute focused on Joseph Louise’s outstanding accomplishments during his exceptional career since 1975.

During this time the singer, famous for such songs as Ti Kreol Leo, Zanpoul Soulye, Separasyon, Ou Pa Pou May Mwan among others, has released 29 cassette albums and 10 CDs.

The concert was organised by Kasamba Production, Basil Bouchereau who is also a great admirer of Ton Joe.

“The show was a real success; Ton Joe is like our Bob Marley of Seychelles. When he sings, he sings the truth and can interact with people of different age groups,” Basil said.

For Praslin and La Digue, Ton Joe will be live on Praslin on July 29 and will be present on La Digue on August 14. Stay tuned for more details…
