The H Resort gets new GM |06 July 2017

Johannes Steyn has taken over the helm at The H Resort Beau Vallon Beach as the new general manager.

With over 25 years international industry experience, Mr Steyn will spearhead the management of the 100 key luxury boutique resort.

The South African national will oversee The H Resort's commercial and operational activity - playing a pivotal role in redefining the property's luxury lifestyle offering while maintaining its position as one of the island's most renowned hospitality concepts.

With focus on the culinary element of the business, Mr Steyn's experience spans the globe with various roles across the Middle East, Africa, North Africa, Asia and Europe. His most notable positions include his recent tenure as the executive assistant manager of Anantara's Jabal Al Akhdar property in Oman

from 2015 and prior to this as director of Food & Beverage at Le Meridien Dhaka in Bangladesh.

He commented: “It's an exciting time to be joining H'MARK Host's with its ambitious growth plans and its refocus on the guest experience across its five existing properties internationally.
