Miss Seychelles … Another World 2017 Contestants develop closer bonds ahead of big event |04 August 2017

 The journey of the Miss Seychelles … Another World 2017 contestants has continued throughout the month of July with the Albizia boot camp, whereby the contestants had the opportunity to develop closer bonding.

The camp included a talk on July 8 by Penny Belmont, the chief executive of Senpa, who spoke to them in her capacity as a career women.

She also briefed them on some of the most important attributes needed to start a small business.

The contestants were also privileged to have a courtesy visit from the new Minister for Youth, Culture and Sports, Mitcy Larue on Sunday July 9. 

The entire stay at the Albizia Lodge was full of fun whereby the contestants had to cook their own breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The July activities were followed by sessions on positive thinking and self-confidence by Robert Ah-Weng, hair grooming sessions by Jovana Hair dressing salon, make-up sessions by Joel Rose and beauty tips from La Jeunesse beauty salon. Those sessions were geared towards preparing the contestants for the Glamour Photoshoot hosted by Avani Resort and SPA on July 15 and 16.  

The contestants were also hosted to an international banquette Table Etiquette training on the weekend of July 21-22 by Savoy Resort and SPA, and another one the following Sunday by Avani Resort and SPA.

Beachcomber Seychelles Sainte Anne & Spa was the contestants’ last hosts for the month of July where on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, they had the luxury of such beautiful resort to do their swimwear photo-shoots. All photography works were done by Michel Denousse and team from MAD Creation, filming by Damien Toule from ALPHA House, make up by Joel Rose and assistant and hair by Jovana hair salon. The kaftans for the swimwear photo-shoot were sponsored by KIKI de mer and make-up products partly sponsored by Dira’s Cosmetic.

Throughout the whole two months starting from July 1 the contestants are being treated to the delicious healthy salads from Callinoz. This is aimed at helping them to keep in shape for the big event on August 26.
