NDEA Communiqué - Four men remanded in connection with importation of drug |18 August 2017

The Magistrate Court has ordered that four men be remanded until August 25, 2017 in connection with a case of conspiracy to import a controlled drug and importation of a controlled drug.

These men -- a 29-year-old fisherman from Anse Forbans, two casual labourers both 30 years of age residing at Glacis and Anse Royale together with one unemployed 29-year-old man equally from Anse Royale -- were all arrested by agents of the National Drugs Enforcement Agency (NDEA) on August 15 and 16 this week at Anse Forbans and Anse Royale.
