In an interview with the local media after the visit, Minister Larose stated that MCB Seychelles has achieved a very important milestone by delivering good quality services to the community in Seychelles.

“As the Minister for finance it is my responsibility to visit each financial institution in the country. MCB Seychelles employs majority Seychellois and is now a leading commercial bank in the country, offering  a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of its valued customers. MCB Seychelles has already got an international standard bank and my vision is that all the banks in Seychelles also upgrade to international standard,” he said.

MCB Seychelles has a network of four branches on Mahé, two on Praslin and one on La Digue. In addition, the bank has invested in 17 ATMs located in different parts of the three islands, the latest ones recently installed at the Inter Island Quay and STC Hypermarket on Mahé.

Mr Jackson stated that the bank always tries to come up with innovative projects to offer its customers.

“Recently we have introduced the bank’s new Debit Card which was an ambitious and innovative project, offering our customers the latest chip technology protection with secure online card usage. We always try very hard to continue to innovate towards opening up new possibilities for our clients. Starting from next year we are planning to expand our branches,” he said.
