Regatta 2017 is round the corner! |21 September 2017
The most anticipated event of the year in Seychelles is just round the corner.
All eyes will be on the 44th annual Round Table Seychelles Regatta (RTSR) 2017, Seychelles largest fundraising event for important projects.
This year’s event has been set for September 29 - October 1 at the usual Beau Vallon beach front.
This year all the money raised will go towards the School for the Exceptional Child located at Roche Caiman.
The event’s jam-packed schedule includes numerous sports activities, live performances by local artists.
The weekend culminates with a thrilling ‘Greasy Pole contest’ and of course the lottery draw on October 1.
To make this event a total success local and international companies alike support the event by manning food and beverage stalls or running promotional stations where the crowds benefit generous give-away and reduced prices on goods. All in all, the event brings many Seychellois and tourists together for a good cause.
