• Estelle Bonnelame scores 9 A*s at IGCSE

The International School of Seychelles (ISS) has said that its students have performed “extremely well” in the May/June IGCSE and A-Levels exams.

At IGCSE, the great majority passed all subjects and special mention goes to Estelle Bonnelame, who attained 9 A*s.

Other outstanding results have been achieved by Anastasia Pantazopoulou (8 A*s, 1 A), Henrietta Hanqi (Victoria) Gao  (8 A*s, 1 A) and Dar’ya Klymenko  (8 A*s, 1 C).

At AS-Level, Annie Alvis and Rahul Rai attained 4 A*s, while at A-Level Mary Xu and Ramanan Karunanithy attained 3 ‘A’s and 1 A.

The school says that the level of achievement has allowed Year 13 a great choice of career possibilities and they have dispersed to universities near and far.

Keval Sakhida is in the Netherlands studying Aerospace Engineering, Ramanan Karunanithy is in Manchester studying medicine and Michelle FockTave is also studying medicine, in Slovakia.

Rushi Shah has chosen to stay in Seychelles to study Accounting.

The school’s principal John Prince says that the students deserve their success after all their hard work and that all staff at ISS are extremely proud of them.

The ISS provides a British-style education for 733 children aged 3-18 years. Cambridge International IGCSE and A-Level examinations are offered.
