NDEA arrests and releases six women and a man for conspiracy to import controlled drugs
The National Drugs Enforcement Agency (NDEA) has arrested and released six women and a man for the offence of conspiracy to import controlled drugs.
These suspects ‒ a man and a woman from Mahé and five other women from Praslin ‒ were arrested after it was suspected that they were involved in the transportation of a certain quantity of drugs after three out of the five women from Praslin travelled via an Air Seychelles flight from Madagascar on September 17, 2017.
The NDEA is still investigating this case.
