Four Seasons Resort Seychelles ranked 19th globally and 4th in the region

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles has been ranked 19th among the 50 best resorts in the world in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2017.

The resort, which opened its doors in 2009, has climbed 22 places from its 41st position achieved last year.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles has also maintained its 4th position in the Top Resorts in the Indian Ocean category, obtaining a score of 99.17. Three Maldivian hotels have taken the top three places in that category.

Condé Nast Traveler is a luxury and lifestyle magazine published by Condé Nast, an American mass media company based in New York, which owns an impressive portfolio of print and media brand.

The Readers' Choice Awards allows readers of the travel magazine to rate their travel experiences around the globe.

According to Condé Nast, more than 300,000 travellers took part in its 30th annual Readers' Choice Awards survey.

The general manager of Four Seasons Resort Seychelles Adrian Messerli said: “This is yet another fantastic achievement by our team, who work passionately to deliver incredible holiday experiences to our guests - something that is recognised not only here in Seychelles, but increasingly on a global stage.”

The resort which boasts 67 luxurious tree house style villas and suites, built to depict the traditional Creole architecture with French colonial and European influences, overlooks the Petite Anse beach at Baie Lazare.

Its 19th position globally and 4th in the Indian Ocean region as voted by Condé Nast readers adds to its previous successes, which include being ranked the number one resort in the Best Resort in Seychelles category in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2016 and the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence 2017.
