WM Med 5 Limited (WMUSM5) and WMUSM7 (WMUSM7) have declared a fourth and second interim dividend,respectively, of $0.02 per participation share to be paid to shareholders holding shares at 4.00 PM on 17^th November 2017. The dividend will be paid on 21^st November 2017.

Sacos Group Ltd (SAC) announcedon Thursday that Mr. John Esther, the current CEO has elected not to renew his contract which ends on the 30^th November 2017 and further announced that Ms. Jenifer Morel will be replacing Mr. Esther as CEO of SAC from 1^st December 2017.

The Seychelles Rupeeiscurrently trading at 13.79 to the US Dollar, anincrease by 0.36% (when compared to last week), 16.02 to the Euro (decrease by 0.01%) and 18.12 to the British Pound (increase by 0.08%). The average interest rates on T-Bills dropped at the end of the week to 2.46% for the 91-day maturity from 2.75% and 2.89% for the 182-day maturity from 3.14%, when compared to last week.

Part 8: The different boards of Trop-X’s Equities Market?

Trop-X is a multi-currency Securities Exchange with a total of twenty-three companies listed on its Equities Market. The Exchange offers three Equity Boards on which companies can list: Main Board, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Board and the Venture Capital (VCAP) Board.These different Boards give companies from diverse sectors of the economy the opportunity to raise funding from the public.

The Main Board is the platform for the ‘more seasoned’ companies to list. The SME Board is aimed at small to medium sized companies and the VCAP Board is aimed at start-ups. The Boards both have one listed company with BODCO Ltd (BOD) listed on the SME Board and Sea Harvest Investment Plc (SHI) listed on the VCAP Board.
