After a long wait by fans, Michel Dan Ally has recently released a new album entitled ‘Rapture’.

The album, comprising 13 inspirational gospel songs, was released last week in all usual outlets on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.

“I pray that anyone who listens to these inspirational gospel songs shall be mightily blessed and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour,” he says.

He added that all the songs have been written, composed and sung by himself except for ‘Let your light shine’ written, composed and sung by Diane Edmond and ‘Holy Spirit’ accompanied by Raphaella Oreddy.

“I have been working on this album for quite some time now. It has been a wonderful voyage and it hasn’t been an easy task, but with God by my side and with close friends and family, I present to you this album,” says Michel.

To make his album a success, he has received a lot of help from various sponsors and individuals.

“Massive thanks to all my sponsors, the musicians, the vocalists and all who have made this project a reality, you are richly blessed by Almighty God every day of your life,” he said.

Music is fundamental to the functioning of a society and listening to those gospel songs will bring hope and happiness to each individual that enjoys such genre of music.

“Gospel music is a powerful weapon that can be used not only for entertainment but also to spread the word of Jesus Christ, and can help to overcome problems and difficulties, raising the critical power of listeners. Music is indeed a language common to all people and can easily convey emotions or feelings,” he says.

The album costs R125 in the shops but only R100 if you buy it from the artist himself.
