Centennial Women Lions Club bring early Christmas cheer to children of President’s Village and foster homes |14 December 2017

The Seychelles Centennial Women Lions Club (SCWLC) organised an early Christmas lunch for all children of the President’s Village and in the different foster homes.

The lunch was held last Sunday at the Golden Plate Restaurant.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Minister for Family Affairs Jeanne Simeon who thanked the club for the great initiative taken.

The President of the Club, Sashi Senthil Kumar, welcomed the guests and mentioned in her speech that they have gathered here today to spread the spirit of Christmas and also to share the joy and happiness of the season in each other’s company.

She also urged the children to celebrate this special time of the year with fun and laughter.

A group of children from the President’s Village performed a medley of some famous Christmas songs and a certificate of appreciation was presented to the club on behalf of the President’s Village.

A hearty lunch, face painting and bouncing castle were arranged by the club members for the children as a treat for Christmas.

To end the afternoon, each child was presented with an early Christmas gift!

The Women Lions Club would like to wish you all A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
