Air Seychelles brings Christmas cheer to kids at President’s Village |15 December 2017

Air Seychelles yesterday brought some early Christmas cheer to a group of 35 children at the President’s Village by organising a day of fun games and activities.

Staff from across the airline came together to make it a special day for the children by playing games such as musical chairs, pass the parcel and musical statues, and hosting a delicious Christmas lunch.

The highlight was, without a doubt, a surprise visit by Santa who presented the children with gifts donated by Air Seychelles staff including toys and games, chocolates and snacks, and other presents.

Roy Kinnear, chief executive of Air Seychelles, said: “The end-of-year season is a great time to share our spirit of corporate social responsibility at Air Seychelles with the community. We are glad that the children at the President’s Village had an enjoyable start to the Christmas period.”

Josie Michaud Payet, manager of corporate social responsibility at Air Seychelles, said: “It was wonderful to see the children light up with joy at the President’s Village today, especially when Santa Claus appeared in the afternoon. It was a very enjoyable day for everyone involved and we’re happy to once again partner with the President’s Village to support our children in Seychelles.”

Located in the district of Port Glaud, the President’s Village is a children’s home which has been looking after children since 1987.
