Hineni Unlimited Foundation organises bus tour for Roche Caiman children |26 December 2017

A group of 39 children aged between 5 and 17 years from Roche Caiman were treated to a bus tour on Saturday as a Christmas gift.

The tour was organised by the Hineni Unlimited Foundation (HUF) in collaboration with the Roche Caiman district administrator, the district’s elected MNA and a district youth worker.

From Roche Caiman where the tour started, the children travelled to Pointe Larue, Au Cap, Les Canelles, Anse Boileau, Grand Anse, La Misère and back to the Roche Caiman district administration.

The founder of HUF, Lirroy Pierre, stated that such wonderful gesture will bring joy to the children for Christmas.

“We organise such bus tour for children who feel left behind and vulnerable.  The bus tour was a way to make them feel special and wanted. A child should never feel alone for Christmas, so my organisation will try and bring a smile to every vulnerable child in Seychelles,” he said.

Liza Juliette, Thyresa Hortere and Francisca Charlette all from Plaisance secondary school thanked HUF for their generosity.

“We feel special to have taken part in such activity; it allowed us to visit our country and gain more knowledge about historical places in Seychelles. We would like to thank HUF for such great gesture, and wish them Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” they said.

At the end of the bus tour all the children were treated to snacks and received a wonderful Christmas gift to take home.
