Lekia does it again! |27 December 2017

Lekia AB Sweden donated toys to Playtime Seychelles in 2015, 2016 and it has done it again!

Lekia sent 400 toys this year, more than we asked for so we have been able to give some more children Christmas gifts this year.

After a lot of wrapping it was time for our first delivery of Christmas gifts.

Our first donation of 70 Christmas gifts was to La Retraite school where we handed them over to the head teacher Mrs Sheila.

Playtime Seychelles visited one crèche and a primary class at Bel Eau school and gave the children Christmas gifts. I also took the opportunity to talk a little about road safety and pedestrian reflectors with the children. We gave the children and their teachers pedestrian reflectors and wished them A Merry Christmas.

Next stop was at a crèche in Mont Fleuri where we attended a Christmas party and all children got a Christmas gift from Playtime Seychelles. We also talked a little about road safety and gave the children, their teachers and all other adults on the party a pedestrian reflector.

We visited the children at Foyer de Nazareth and Foyer de la Providence with Christmas gifts and candy bags and wished the children and the Sisters a Merry Christmas.

The last Christmas party for this year that Playtime Seychelles attended with Christmas gifts was at Unity House. We listened to a choir singing Christmas Carols, afterwards the children played games and Father Christmas came and joined the party!

Playtime Seychelles donated 80 toys to the Sisters of Missionaries of Charity at Anse Etoile to give to children and 60 toys and pedestrian reflectors to Caritas Seychelles.

Playtime Seychelles is very grateful to Lekia AB Sweden and especially to Richard Richardsson at Lekia that have made this possible even this year.
