SCAA unveils revamped logo and launches social media platforms |23 January 2018

The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has unveiled a new and more striking logo along by launching its Social Media Platform (SMP).

For the past years the organisation has been establishing itself on SMP such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Google +.

The logo and SMP was launched in a small ceremony on Friday at the Seychelles International Airport, Pointe Larue in the presence of the chief executive (CEO) of SCAA Gilbert Faure, the principal secretary for tourism Anne Lafortune, among other distinguished guests.

Being a forward looking organization, the SCAA is continuously seeking ways to improve its image and keep abreast of emerging trends to ensure that it remains vibrant and contemporary.

As part of its strategy to be on par with the ever changing climate of the aviation world, SCAA felt the need to make over the old logo which has been in use for over a decade and was no longer representative of its image.

Unveiling the newly revamped logo, CEO Faure stated that the new logo and the SMP will allow the organisation to be recognised by all.

“This newly revamped logo is to be promoted internally as well as to local and international communities, to ensure that by 2019 it is not only recognised by all, but appreciated for what it stands for.  The SMP gives the organisation more possibilities to showcase its events and activities, to promote its business and to acknowledge the devotion of hardworking staff who dedicate themselves to aviation 365 days a year,” he said.

The new logo has a more modern look and better represents SCAA and the versatility of the aviation industry.

The logo was designed by Andrew Palmyre from APDesigns. He also designed the logo for Today Newspaper, Jouel, Spar, among others.
