New start of term for several schools |23 January 2018

As students from most schools resume classes today after their six-week Christmas break, those from four secondary and one primary schools will start their school term a few days later.

This is because renovation or demolition work at those schools have been delayed.

The new term for these schools will start as follows: for Anse Royale, Anse Boileau and Pointe Larue secondary, S1 students will start on Wednesday January 24 whereas S2 to S5 students will start on Thursday January 25.

For Au Cap primary school - Crêche, and P2 to P6 will start on Wednesday January 24 whereas P1 will start on Thursday January 25.

As for Belonie secondary, the new term will start on Wednesday January 24 for S3 to S5 students. With regard to S1 – S2 students, it has already been announced that they will temporarily be relocated to other schools as a result of the demolition work there.
