German ambassador calls on Deputy Speaker Prea |28 February 2018

The Ambassador of Germany accredited to Seychelles, Jutta Frasch, called on the deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Nicholas Prea, yesterday morning.

Hon. Prea welcomed Ambassador Frasch and conveyed sincere appreciation for the diplomatic relations between Seychelles and Germany.

During the meeting both Hon. Prea and Ambassador Frasch discussed the rising issues of climate change and sustainable fishing and the ways that support in these sectors could be provided to Seychelles.

Ambassador Frasch conveyed support in further enhancing cooperation ties with Seychelles.

Discussions followed on new avenues of collaboration in regards to the parliaments of the two countries connecting, as well as discussing the unique cohabitation and the progress of the 6th National Assembly.

Also present during the meeting were the Honorary Consul of Germany to Seychelles, Kerstin Henri; the Clerk of the National Assembly, Jutta Alexis; and the deputy Clerk, Tania Isaac.
